Yeah, I've finally finished the baby blanket I've been busy crocheting for my son's teacher who leaves to have a baby at the end of this term.
I've taken time out to make this blanket because she has been the most amazing teacher over the last 12 months. For anyone that knows me and my DS will know I've struggled at times even getting him out of the house to go to School and she has been so understand I can't begin to thank her enough so I'm hoping this goes some way to show my appreciation. Its been an up and down year, to cut a long story short...his brother left to go to High School last September and he just missed him so much that School was just unbearable without him being close by but with lots of encouragement and understanding from his teacher we were able to get him to go and enjoy School again, I'm extremely relieved that I have a happy 7 year old thanks to a special teacher and her soft approach.

This is just gorgeous Claire!! i am sure she will be really touched that you have obvioulsy taken so much time and effort to make her something special.
ooohhh it's just so so beautiful and she'll be so over the moon with it. It's just such a special gift.
Claire, this is outstanding, you are so clever, beautiful blanket and card, I hope Teacher appreciates it.
